Clinton started out as a left leaning Democratic, but as time went on, he shited toward the center and even made decision that pleased moderate Republicans. Clinton was a true weather vane politician who changed his stance depending on which way the wind blew. I believe that's good politics. He listened to others.

Clinton did use good fiscal managment, ended gov't housing projects, and had a balanced budget.

He did very well, and at times, acted very Republican.
