I give out a mix, candy bars, nerds, gum, the caramel apple suckers, blow pops, just everything. I do try to make sure I have suckers that toddlers can enjoy, the parents are quite appreciative of this.
For the kids I know personally, I give either Halloween sugar cookies (pumpkin shapes, decorated), cupcakes or caramel apples. Whichever I made. Usually cupcakes.
This year I might try popcorn balls....don't know yet. Never made them, my mom used to make them and they were awesome. (and they won't get crushed)

Small candy bars. Small bags of skittles. No hard candy or bubble gum. I try to give the kind of thing I liked as a kid trick or treating.

of course i give out candy for halloween, i loved trick or treating when i was a kid but i also didn't like cheap candy when i was a kid so i do what i like when i was a child, i make up the little bags and but snickers or pixie sticks, some reeses, stuff that kids like, i hated it when people wouldn't answer there door or weren't home so event though i don't have kids yet i enjoy greeting them with sweets every October 31st! :)

You give out candy!!!!!!! Kids love candy which also means they love the person giving it out so that way our house won't get egged or toilet-papered this year. I like to give out different types of candy because some kids are allegeric to peanuts or chocolate. It's good to buy one of those huge bags of candy with a ton of different types of candy in it.

Nope don't give out any candy. But I live deep in the woods & my nearset neighbor lives a mile away. No kids in the area to give out to. But it doesn't stop me from loading up on candy just in case. I normally can find a good home for it. =)
