Criticism should never be considered unpatriotic. In fact to provide constructive comments concerning what is wrong with the actions of this country is one of the most patriotic things that one can do. All change that has benefited this country, and made it great, has had its impetus in criticism of the status quo. From the abolition of slavery, the institution of child labor laws, and the women’s suffrage movement; all caused by the willingness to dissent to what was lawful or accepted at the time.
Keep in mind those environments that vilify criticism of government and the questioning of the establishment as unpatriotic are generally those arenas that are ripe for despotism. Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, and Communist China are all areas of the world that had, or are, tyrannical and the one thing they all had in common was their shared demonizing of those who disparaged the government. Let’s, as a democracy, not partake in the same behavior as those governments we deem as dictatorships, lest we become one.

Not a freaking chance! The Bush administration and supporters have been criticized numerous times, and they deserve. Being unpatriotic has nothing to do with criticizing the current government we have! I call this a patriotic move! If we don't like the way the government is run, we have to be critical of our leaders! Remember, as voters, we have to hold them to a higher standard as far as their job performance is concerned! And we are entitled to our own opinion on this matter. If you get backlash on it from the President's supporters, tell them to go to hell! The First Amendment RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would it be unpatriotic. It's the right of every citizen to be critical of government with good reason.

No, but most of the Bush critics operate on the philosophy of global humanism, not constitutional Americanism.
So most liberals are incapable of patriotism, whether or not they criticize Bush.
