can you get work riding competition horses in or around london?

i'm living here for the year and i want to keep riding,are there any stables that keep liveries, eventers or showjumpers??

I don't know about London, but you could try New Market race course (it is the oldest in the country and) it is about 1hour out of London on the train.
Look them up on the Internet, or go there in person. Good luck.
