Yes it will. The important thing is to understand why!!! The rays of the sun are 3 UVA, UVB and another one which I forgot the name right now but with the ozone layer this one does not affect us directly. The UVA = aging and the UVB = burning. Always use SFP 30 as a maximum for it will not contain too many chemicals and will not irritate your skin. The SPF is IMPORTANT to use when exposing to the sun, directly or indirectly. This will help with the UVA to not penetrate your skin afecting the collagen and elasticin so you will not age as fast, specially remember that 90% of the lines and wrincles are caused by the sun the other 10% is caused by using mineral oil in skin care products. It will also help portect from the UVB which is the cause of cancer. You will get tanned but not affected by the rays. I use a product called Arbonne which are botanically based products and they are also formulatted with elements that will help turn back the aging process.... I use them every day along with their make up which are formulated with SPF and their facial moisturizers.... check them out....

Yes it will. The sun screen is just so that you don't get a full shot of the suns harmfull rays. you can tan working in a hot kitchen. I know this because I've done it. Think about how meat in the oven cooks. No sun yet it still gets darker and darker.

that depends on the SPF factor and the weather. if its a hot day then wearing a SPF of 15 will make you tan because its not strong enough. however if you use a SPF 30 on a hot day you wont tan unless you dont re-apply the lotion after 2 hours, like your supposed to.
