I have it too. Luckily, I'm blond. I shave my face and consequently, I get ugly bumps. Anyways, the best way to get rid of it is electyolisis (probably spelled wrong) but it is expensive and time consuming. Also, you have to see an endrocronologist to make sure your hormones aren't totally screwed up. Alot of times they can prescribe medications like birth control to regulate your hormones and that'll help with excessive body hair. Unfortunately, my Dr. said that it's usually hereditary and certain ethnic groups are more prone to it. Good luck! Don't shave! Make sure you see an endrocronologist -it's important because hiritiuism can be a sign of something serious too.

Hirsutism can be defined as excess facial and body hair growth in women. It is not a disease and can be easily treated. The condition usually develops during puberty and becomes more pronounced as the years go by. The disorder is usually androgen mediated.

There are a variety of ways to remove unwanted hair:
Bleaching - Lightening hair to make it less noticeable.
Hair removal - Shaving, plucking, waxing, or chemical depilation.
Electrolysis - Using electrical current to damage individual hair follicles so they do not grow back. This is expensive and requires multiple treatments.
Laser hair removal - Using laser to damage individual hair follicles so they do not grow back. This is expensive and requires multiple treatments.

Latest treatments
A homeopathic cream called Oleum Jacoris has shown great results in treating Hirsutism. This Hirsutism takes place due to an increase in male hormones. This is when one needs to turn to a qualified trichologist and seek treatment. A trichologist will be able to treat the cause and also advise the person about diet and other lifestyle factors that contribute to Hirsuitism. The trichologist may treat the problem by treating the problem through controlling the male hormone by Serenoa Complex, a specialized treatment along with Dong Quai, another treatment prescribed to increase female hormones. This treatment is also beneficial for thinning of hair.
