Wiping out any major city would have a global economic effect, and cause drastic social and military responses. The city of choice would need to be where the terrorist could get the bomb safely. Any country or city will do a nuclear bomb detonation would have drastic repercussions- whose to say their isn't going to be another detonation around the corner. Guess - Rome - Italy.

I'll think they'd go straight for Washington DC, USA: simply because there's a good chance that the President will be residing there at the time, and to wipe him and the entire American Government out in one swoop would then bring the world's most powerful nation to its knees within the hour. If that happened, there'd be panic all over the world, and terrorists will feel they are the victors in a war that needn't ever have begun.

Atomic weapons are confusing to produce and proceed to be the area of government arsenals. the terror that a rustic might sell or provide one its warheads to terrorist is overstated. maximum terrorist companies haven't any national alliances and there is gaurante that a device given to terrorist would not in became be used on the rustic from which it became presented. additionally there are attempt which would be preformed to perceive the place an atomic weapon became made, even after detonation. Any u . s . a . advertising a weapon to a terrorist disadvantages the retalliation from any u . s . a . attacked with this way of device. As a prior answer reported, the lots extra probable possibility comes from grimy bombs that are lots extra handy to fabricate and hire.

I don't think there will be a nuclear attack.I think the next 'Big One' will be a germ or chemical attack against America or Britain. No country,no matter how sympathetic to Osama would allow a nuclear launch from their soil,it would be suicide,& yes ,every country would know if a nuclear weapon was being constructed within their borders.

It depends on who the terrorists are! If they are from the Islamic camp in the Middle East, the likely target is Israel. If they are from the West, it is unpredictable!

They'll choose a small country that hasn't got the means to fight back, so it won't be the USA or UK. The aim is not to kill people, even though it will but, yet again send out a message to the western world and promote more terror.

I suppose it depends upon the country that we are discussing, some have traditional enemies that would be thier first port of call. However I imagine that the US would be a likly number one for political and economic reasons.
