Well, do remember she introduced you to him. She apparently had her eye on him too. Was there some romantic history that you did not know about? Perhaps she never told you just how close they were previously.
You broke up with him. You didn't mention how long you dated. You broke up. You can't control who he kisses- whether it is your best friend, your sister, or a stranger. You broke up. He has a life too. You broke up. "Planning on getting back with him" does not mean he is "reserved" for you only.
He may be just trying to get your attention but it is a low move. I would be more mad at my best friend.
Did I mention it was you who broke up???

It's hard, but if you guys don't love each other...get over it.
If your friend is happy, support her.
If you can't deal, tell your friend that this is hurting your friendship, i'm sure she'll be on your side.
It sounds like you are young(16-22)
This kind of drama is going to go on throughout these ages..just be patient and love your friend...it's gonna be a bumpy ride.

give him a slap across the head and tell him he has a small p***s
and ask your friend exactly how it happened because maybe he kissed her first and not the other way around and she probably feels guilty about it. however if she turns out to be interested in the guy then you don't need a friend like that. tell her "what comes around goes around".

Whatever you do, DON'T do something to make either one of them happy first. Make the decision that will make you happy and that won't leave you with a feeling of 'I'm doing this for them, and it's making me feel like crap about myself.'...
That being said, if you need to walk away, walk away.
