Do they reflect what real women think and feel? Is there any bitterness towards them in class?

I attend school at a very liberal arts college and have experienced the same thing. Although not always lesbians they can be very much feminazis. I do find it embarrasing sometimes. They have such a negative outlook on life and see everything in life as having to do with either their sex or sexual orientation. Its frustrating, because I have never felt opressed because I am a woman. I have gone into fields, and work in an enviroment that is comfortable with females in the workplace. I believe that women who think and feel this way are victims, and will always act like victims and will feel liek victims no matter what. I also have three brothers and I do not get the hatred towards other men. I would rather a guy teach a womens study class than a woman, because at least they will try to be objective on all sides.

This is a baited question. I choodse to answer however with the hopes that your own eyes might be open to some blatant stereotyping that is getting in the way of understanding what real women think and feel. Why would a real woman have bitterness towards another who is teaching them?

Real woman are real because they choose to experience life on their terms, with a strength and conviction to define themselves and the world around them. That definition coming from a position of strength is true whether they are sexually attracted to men or women.

Why are most college classes taught by militant dykes?

Another curious fact - of the kids I grew up with - the dumbest and weirdest became college professors. Those of us who did not turn out socially retarded, got jobs in the real world they apparently hate so much.

Good question. Not all but most women studies. They have this ego problem believing they can change the world. Ha! I could only give them an "A" for effort, and a "F" for illogical thinking. Most women, I believe, are embarassed by these miliant feminist and truly believe they are being misled onto a road of divorce, broken families, and frustration. In the long run, the theories of miltant feminist will collapse simply because life is greater than they are..

I did a short Women & Development program years ago but had wonderful women who were sure of themselves, enjoyed life, were sensitive about the issues of women worldwide and were committed to quietly, peacefully and effectively changing things in their own way.

Visiting lesbians who passed through for workshops were intellectually challenging, equally and sometimes more senstive to women's issues and shared my professors' love of and joy for life too.

I didn't experience what you describe....

My, aren't we hostile? Are you afraid of women?

MacArthur: How many women's study classes have you attended? None? Then how are you qualified to judge?

That is a terrible generalization which, as with all generalizations, does not work.
