I'm spending Christmas alone. Before you say ah what a shame........I love being by myself. When all my 5 kids were at home it was just absolute chaos!!!!!!!! I will eat what I like, when I like and go to bed when I want to. It's heaven!!!

I have my mum and her husband as well as my partner at my house for Christmas so that means for the first time I'm cooking it for them. Thankfully I cook better when I've had a few so I'm saving the wine to one side for the day.

New Year I'm not certain of, seems so far away but as usual it'll just creep on us all of a sudden.

Well Christmas is more non stop than normal for me!

At 5am my daughter gets up (same as every morning) and we'll get up, let her have a couple of presents then get dressed and pile into the car and go five minutes up the road to my mum's house at about 7am where my mum, brother, sister and her kids will be by then. about 11-12 o'clock we will pile over to my inlaws house (its their turn to have us for lunch this year!), do presents with them then lunch and come home about 6pm in time for my completely pooped daughter to go to bed. Hubby and i at this point will breathe a sigh of relief that its over for another year...but its not!

boxing day we will head out to my aunt's (her turn to host, she alternates with mum) for our annual family p*ss up, my turn to drink this year! yay!!! nibbles and alcohol and taking the mickey out of all and sundry.

New year I will be staying in and going to bed very early, the fireworks will wake me at midnight anyway but i should be able to get some sleep by then!!!

If i don't speak to you before then, have a great xmas and new year, whatever you're doing!
