You're right of course - I just this minute reached level 4, and I feel like I'm here all the time.

Some people do spend hours here.

Personally, I am retired and probably average 1.5 -2 hours a day. It sure beats game shows and soap operas.

At almost 60 I feel like I have had a good variety of experiences. I seriously hope that some of my answers have actually helped someone. I have made a few smart *** replies and made some remarks about questioners intelligence but by and large I look for serious questions and try to provide serious answers.

BTW, I am approaching level 6 and so far, all my points and $5 will get me a cup of coffee. Just jump in and have some fun, the points mean nothing at all.

I know its absurd, many people on here just give rubbish answers so they can get points but I only like to answer those that I think I can give a good answer for, they seem to think they are going to win something if they have alot of points but this is daft as you have to have the chosen answer for the selected category that week and given the number of people on here, your chances are slim, I come on here for some interesting debate and information not for daft answers, like people putting "I don't know" down, what a waste of time, some people really need to get a life, an hour on here is enough, people go over the top. I don't care how many points I have, I haven't reached level three yet, talk about people wasting their electricity bill (or their bosses at work), madness!

your right , i joined on 20 August and have got to level 4 and 4,400 points, Ive answered 1200 questions and have received 120 best answers. The only way i was able to do this is, I'm on sickness leave and simply have nothing else to do all day. Had i been fit for work i would not have been able to achieve it..

If no one asked any questions, where would we be? I have just started using this recently and do not worry about points.

Best answers help...and don't ask questions unless you have a pressing need...they just cost you points.
