I have read them all and like some better than others...The Queen of the Damned is one of my favorites as well as the "Witch" series with Witching Hour, Taltos & Lasher. They have ties with the vampires and it is amazing how she can string the written word together and you can see it....Have you read her new book about Jesus, Out of Egypt? It is very good too. She is such a talanted writer.

Absolutely amazing! I've read them all about 3 times each. The Vampire Armand is my favorite! They are all completely beautiful both in imagery and overall storyline. I love the way Rice changes her writing style for each of the different blood drinkers.

I think she has a new, unique approach on Vampires, and that's always refreshing, seeing something new, at least in my opinion. I know when I first read her books, I thought, WHOA... this is different and odd! She goes into such detail, that you can just picture things, and for me, that's one indicator of a good story teller.

My daughter loves them. Funny what the first person that answered loves about them, I don't like about them. Too much detail. I just can't get that interested. The story lines are good and her characters are good, I just can't get past the first few chapters before I have to put it down and be done.... wait for the movie. :) Kudos to you all who read it!

I really enjoyed the first few, but after Blackwood Farm, I didn't like them. Something just seemed...off. Like she wasn't putting something there, that had been there before or something. Maybe she lost her passion after her husband died.

They are good. Too bad she's done writing that kind of stuff now that she found religion.
