But (according to wikipedia) Barrie also wrote a short story about Jas Hook of Eton. Same guy? And what kind of name is Jas?

He was born with a hook. The croc ate the first hook, then he got a new, bigger one. Before he was promoted to Captain, he was called Lieutenant Hook.
