I don't think so, I've only seen screenshots for the Sims 2 Pets for Gamecube with Sim adults and pets. It might but I doubt it.

No, none of the console versions of Sims 2 allow kids.
The console games are not the same as the computer Sims 2 game.

Yes you will be able to have kids, and there can only be 4 people in the house hold
two kids
two parents
but they don't grow up
you will also be able to go to the park and stuff
but if you have spare cash get the Sims 2 for PC it's along with the expansion packs
once you play the Sims PC you'll never play the console games again_â¥

no sorry you can't have any kids at all on the sims 2.
