We tend to feel a connection to people based upon many things, both physical and emotional. While physical attraction is common and prmoted in this society (get many more comments about your 'legs' on this site today?), emotional connections make more of an impact to people who are more mature in their development (relationships, emotional, and mental well being that is). Thus, talking to someone establishes more of an emotional bond than a mere picture or image.
I'm right with, but there are different types of love. Heck, I kinda love YOU for your answers and wit as expressed on this site, but it doesn't mean I wanna leave my wife or anything. Love is OK, we need more of it, but we also need to realize there are different types and levels of love, ranging from unspecific love for fellow people, to the love between a parent and child.

oh yeah it is chemistry baby and you can just feel when it is right that is me and my wifey we fell in love a long time a go and we still have that chemistry we are soul mates and i believe there is some one out there for every one!!! just keep looking you will find them!!!! I fell in love with her at first site but for her it happened 12 years later but now it has been 24 years of love and still going strong we can't get enough of each other!!!!

I want to believe in "love at first sight" or even "friendship at first sight" based on such a wonderful first impression, but it's best to be objective and take things one day at a time. The first impression only gives you the tip of the iceberg, and your mind tends to fill in whatever you want to believe, based upon your own standards or fantasies.

It means that you live your life with an open and accepting heart. You must have freed yourself of the petty judgments that stop most of us from seeing the true self in others. I wish that I could be so pure, if there's a God, I'm sure that this is the way that She meant for us to be. Please don't change.

It's called a good first impression. And, what is your question doing in this category. It should be in "singles & dating". The kind of chemistry they're talking about in this category is where you mix together certain chemicals to blow things up, among other combinations of chemicals meant to attain certain results.
