Both have degrees. Both of them are good in moderation. The extremes of both are bothersome.

Shy when I'm around strange people. And outgoing when I'm with friends. No, doesnt bother me at all.

I am shy... but academically, at times, I can be outgoing! It doesn't bother me that much because I hardly think about it...

And being so isn't bad at all.
Shy people aren't bad either. I believe all shy people have an outgoing person inside them.

Shy and yes, people think you're stuck up when you're shy. I don't think I'm better than anyone, in fact the reason I'm shy is because i don't think I'm good enough and i think everyone will laugh at me.
