I don't completely understand what your asking, but i do like and trust Hugo Chavez. I think he is a good leader, and a much better leader than Bush.

I think Mr. Chavez should concern himself with the interests of his own country. The reason Mr. Chavez has a platform in the first place is because his country has oil. He has a right to sell that oil to whatever buyer he wishes. Mr. Chavez is a hypocrite who wants to oppose American policy and political leadership while raking in the profits. We have not invaded Venezuela as of this time and I don't think we should, but here is another 3rd world leader throwing down the gauntlet and as usual there are people in this country who praise him for it. Of course that is your right, I for one just won't buy Citgo fuel. Maybe more people like Chavez should stand up. It might finally bring about a real discussion on why it is bad to be dependent on foreign oil and why we need to seriously explore more stable sources for oil, as well as alternative fuels for the future.

It is wrong to say that it is a unipolar world in that US is able to call the shots. The writ of the US does run every where. They want Pak to find out Osama and Pak is playing hide and seek. They wanted India to give Army to go to Afghanistan to fight their war. India declined. They can never brow beat China. Iran is defiant. Saddam is still roaring. Taliban is not completely out and may any time come out openly. Russia is not cowed down. Europe is not toeing the American line, in every issue.

Yes, money from oil (which belongs to the people) should be distributed as such and spent on social programs such as health care and education, which flies in the face of current US administration. They want to keep the status Quo and keep their party funders Haliburton, Brown and Root etc flush with single tenders so they keep the campaign funds rolling.

They just want dum uneducated people to cut their lawns and look after there kids for slave wages.
