you can try and rent a little jackhammer to chissle it off. it will be much quicker and less labourous on your body. I know Home Depot rents these tools, this was you can get the tile and the thinset as well

No easy way.
I would suggest a roofing shovel that has a wedge on the back of the blade.
Ceramic will chip and fly, so always work away from you.
Just go easy.
Sorry there ain't no easy way, but with the chipping, trying to stay in a strait line may not work.
Stay covered, them chips can bounce back and cut your arms or hands.

You can either use a sledge hammer with a chisel and safety goggles, or the best way is to rent an air chisel. We used a sledge hammer and chisel and it it took awhile. Good luck!

safety goggles. I have seen a power hammer used that has a recricopating blade.
