Generally Nokia, but research the Model rather than the Co., as some S/E's excel.

Ive always used the PDA sonny ericsons, p800, p910i. but they keep coming up with the same problem, broken flips, screen freze, screen burns etc!... and the company doesnt seem to care much, i wrote to them complaining and all i got back was ' were working on fixing all the problems you mentioned with the new model' who the heck wants their new model phone when they never seem to get it right?/ Im going NOKIA

i would choose Sony Ericsson
because it has nice sounds..nice cam..nice structure.. just perfect!
i don't like Nokia
because it always hang/freeze
change their model very fast (almost every 2 weeks there's a new model upcoming or in the market)
the physical structure is not that nice (sometimes to bulky / big like n90 and n93)

i think nokia coz there ar more verieties in nokia. sony is to complex and expensive. it depends on your bujet and what cell you want.
simple- nokia
functunal- nokia
hi-tec- sony (camera, blah! blah!)
long lasting- nokia
i think nokia.

the secret is the batteries if both models are basically the same then whichever one has the cheapest batteries cause when you need to replace the batteries they are not readily available and very expensive.
