If he's such a good friend why ignore him in the first place? Surely if you had things on your mind you should talk to him and explain why you've been a bit off, after all that's what close friends are for!!! Also why Does it matter that he has a girlfriend if your just good friends, You made a point of saying this so, me thinks you doth protest too much! Maybe you like him more than your saying? Why don't you write to him at university, and explain your actions if you feel confrontation is too much?

Seriously, you should consider rewriting this to not confuse so many people.

But to be honest, silence and ignore-games are two of the most common reason why people don't get along in this world. Ignoring people to make them feel anything is wrong. Because you could make them feel just as bad with anything you say that has a point towards something they did wrong.

So first rule: don't ignore.

Second rule: don't take life (or love) too seriously. You're only 18. Things, as hard as this is to believe, aren't that complicated for you just yet.

And by the way, remember to relax and don't feel afraid of losing friends. Friendships come and go.

People come in and out of your life in a flash.

That's why you always have to be grateful for what you get.

Just my 2 cents.

How do you feel about your friend Chris?
Because to me it sound like you wont to be more then just friend or you would have had no reason to ignore him, if I'm right i think you need to have a little chat with him and tell him why you could not bring your self to talk to him.
The reason I jump to this is because i just came out of a similar thing i had this friend for 4 years and it took me way to long to realise i Had more feeling for him now I've lost him for good

This sounds like a bit of a miss understanding that can only be sorted by talking to him. If you explain why you were ignoring him then I'm sure he'll be ok about it. He's probably quite hurt by the way you acted, especially if he's done nothing wrong. You need to talk to him. If he won't answer you back then put it all in a txt, so at least he'll read it.

Forget about the incident and just deal with him normally. It sounds like one of those silly situations we all get into and make worse by trying to act cool. Next time you see him talk to him as if nothing ever happened.

friendship is a boon of God, and friend is a great companion or as a part of liver and man can not live without liver. So in such cases you should be bold and unhesitated. If you felt shame means you lost everything. Your existence would be fruitless. I will call you statue.

Phone him and talk to him
Say that you don't know what happened at the party but you seemed to keep missing each other and now you get the feeling that he is upset with you in some way....
He'll either get over it or get it off his chest, but hey - at least you're speaking
and grovel
lots

Call him or e-mail him and tell him that you were actually busy and didn't mean to hurt him. A little apology too is nice. Tell him what you told us. Make him feel wanted and loved as your good friend. Good luck!
