Adolf Hitler (April 20, 1889 – April 30, 1945) was Chancellor of Germany from 1933, and "Führer" (leader) of Germany from 1934 until his death. He was leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei or NSDAP), better known as the Nazi Party.

Adolf Hitler was undoubtedly one of the greatest mass murderers in history, and is best remembered for his persecution of Jews in the 1930's and 1940's. Some six million Jewish people died in concentration camps, and another six million (at least) Poles, Slavs, Gypsies, mentally challenged, gay, political prisoners, and miscellaneous individuals were also killed under his regime.

He moved to Germany to try his poor painting skills, lived in the gutter and later became a soldier in the Germany army, fought in WW 1 and rose to the rank of Cpl. He became Chancellor of Germany in the early 30s and started the WW 2, killed an estimated 6 million Jews and was responsible for the deaths of millions of others due to that war he started.
