I grew up with the great midwestern work ethic. I've worked most of my professional life outside the midwest. It has worked for me, and many people recognize the ethic in me. I teach it by example. Hopefully it will outlast the $hort $ighted people now in charge of job$ and worker$ and profe$$ional$.

Times have changed; a good Work Ethic used to a valued trait, for the employee. But now, Management's only Focus, is the 'bottom-line'...the almighty $dollar$.
Management is always looking for a way to lower it's costs, and your 'head' is always on the chopping block.
