Thats what I did, 20 years ago.
I made $12.30 pr.hr. in 1982
I quit and shagged.
The only thing I regret is...I didn't do it sooner.

If you have planned this carefully and you are sure that you can take the pressures of having your own business than you should definitely go for it.
Just to be on the safe side maybe it would be worth trying to stay were you are Part - Time if possible and try to do both jobs - just to see how it is going.
If you are happy then you can quit your old job.

The best thing I ever did was start my own business. Everything I do now is for me and my family.
It's no walk in the park though. Be prepared for many sleepless nights and forget being able to switch off from your work. Your work will now be your life so you have to be very careful to try to balance it with your homelife.
Give it a go though. You won't regret it.

Many people think like this, don't give up your job, look into ways of starting up your own business and what help is available, then take it from there.

Yes of course you should, you need to get yourself a business plan put together first, then go to the small business people who will help you every step of the way and point you in the right direction to getting your business off the ground, you can only live your dreams if your prepared to do something to get them, you go for it and good luck.
