No, I don't think so ... in fact I'm certain.
Let me take a stab at what might have got you confused. There was a book and a film called Line of Fire, in which Clint Eastwood played the role of a secret service agent who was on duty (on the actual limousine) when Kennedy was shot; and John Malkovich was the villain who was planning to assassinate the current president but for some reason felt compelled to taunt the Clint Eastwood character with his ineptitude in failing to prevent the assassination.
I find that I can confuse Clint Eastwood and Harrison Ford quite easily in memory (in fact I started to write this answer saying that Harrison Ford had played the part, and it was only when I looked it up that I saw that it was Eastwood).
So, that's two knight's moves worth of possible confusion, but it may be the reason why you've got this bit of misinformation tucked into your head. And if I've read your head wrong I sincerely apologise.

Given that Ford was Republican and JFK Democrat I don't think so. Where did you get that idea from? I do think it ironic that JFK survived fighting in WW2 only to be killed by the very country he fought to protect.

No. He was a Michigan Congressman and he also served on the Warren Commission who investigated the assassination of JFK.
