i don't think it has anything to do with the manager

they have fallen into a situation that happened with Real Madrid, they have brought some of the worlds greatest footballers thinking that if they buy the best they should achieve what Jose is desperate for in England FA Cup, title and Champions League. But buying the best players in the world does not necessarily mean you are going to win everything, Schevchenko has played in Seria A for most of his footballing career coming to the premiership is serious change, our league is the hardest league i think in the world and it's showing badly at the moment as he can't seem to buy a goal. We will just have to wait and see how the season unfolds

I don't think they're losing all that many games ... check your sports pages!!

They're not doing as well as they ought because there's too many players competing for places in the starting line-up. Mourinho operates a squad rotation policy and so there's never enough time for the players to get to know each other and their style of play. This leads to confusion and a problem on the pitch.

Mourinho needs to settle on a starting 11 and keep them together for as long as possible - injury and suspension permitting. Then we might see if Abramovich's money has bought a team worthy of winning something ... although that has to be the Chapions League rather than just the Premiership again.

PS I'd love to see a little bit of his money filter down to Blundell Park ...

What do you mean still losing...
Let's see...in 10 official matches so far this season Chelsea won 7, drew 1 and lost 2. Chels scored 17 goals and allowed only 6. Not too bad...maybe other teams are way a lot better this season that they were in the past 2 seasons...

Chelsea are not doing that badly. It's still early in the season and I quite like that so far this year the battle for the top has started this early. It makes a much more exciting season. As for the Chelsea manager I think he is still trying to find ways of getting all of his stars to work well together. this might not happen until Xmas but when it does it will be exciting to watch.

And what do you expect? The secret of a great team is not in buying all the great players, it's all about the team spirit! And what can you expect when players who are used to playing full time have to stay on the bench? I can imagine what kind of climate they have there!

Because football is a team game, and it is a question of getting the right balance between playing skills, personalities, etc.

Because as Chelsea, they will always be crap no matter how much money they spend. They were crap before Abramovich bought them, and they will be crap when he gets bored of his plaything and leaves..CFC actually stands for Crap Football Club
