I think they are called a HABERDASHER or something like that.

Cause the shop is a HABERDASHERY.

though your question is not specific, i will answer it from my own point of view, i think any person who is into selling is a businessman or businesswoman... a shop that sells cloth or curtains is a textile store... hope this coincides from what you are trying to ask...
