I like stuff like Stone Sour, LostProphets, Bullet for my Valentine, Trivium. I like the heavy music without the shouty vocals. Anybody got any recommendations?

foo fighters are always a classic green day. muse ,snow patrol if u can watch the 3 music awards there is some new talent bein discovered on there plus someone put a post on here um think she said somthing like muse is my fave band can anyone reccomend any others hav a look at that theres a long list someone posted on there u might find some u like on there if i think of any that aint been said i will ammend this post

Dragonforce has old school metal speed guitar with a newer present day feel to it, you may want to check them out. I don't know how far your tastes go back, but you may also want to check out Iron Maiden and Judas Priest if you want some real old school. Certain selections from Godsmack may also be up your alley.
Shinedown and Seether are personal favs of mine, but some rockers find them to be too slow. Take a listen and make your own judgements.
