Hello,
First thing you need to know is which operating System do you have on your PC. If it's a windows 98, windows millennium, windows 2000 or a windows xp. You can not do a system restore windows 98,2000 and millennium. But if you OS in a windows xp you can do system restore.
Here is the guidelines.
1. Click on Start on your Status Bar on your PC.
2. Go to Programs, Accessories, system tools and than you click on System Restore. You can now restore you system to any given date of your choice.
The other Option is you is your PC restore disc that came with the PC when purchase.

The restoration u mean is it BIOS i.e. setup utilities or Operating System restoration If it is BIOS restoration it depend on the manufaturer of your motherboard you can refer to the manual of your motherboard or call a advanced user or open up your pc and remove the CMOS battery for a while and remove all the power cable from your PC or if the motherbaord has the baord jumper setting you can set the jumper to clear for some seconds while remove all the power cable. But if is operating system restoration and you a using windows XP just boot up the thru safe mode by pressing F8 repeatdly on your keybaord and select the safe mode and wait 4 PC to boot then read and follow the instruction on the screen.
Note: if it is BIOS restoration, in some PC you press F1 to reach the BIOS environment or in some pc u press DEL key repeardly or F2 even F3 it depend on the type of motherboard.you are using.
keep it up..

On mine it's F5, as it boots up keep tapping F5 or on some PC's it's F8. Then choose SAFE MODE, when the PC boots up you have the option of using System Restore. Use this to roll the PC back to an earlier date.
Good luck!!

I think its F11 or F12 for medion PC's although not every model came with the built in recovery partition.
The documentation should tell you how to do a factory restore.
hope that helps

You mean you want to "format the harddrive" so you get back to new pc when you bought? In that case, just put the XP CD and restart your computer, it will automatically read and then follow the instructions.....
There is an Option called "Delete Partition" select that and it will delete all the files and back to new........
NOTE: make sure you Backup all the files you need...before you start.....

Did your computer come with a Windows system disk or "RESTORE disk"? You would want to reboot with that. Pick REFORMAT to say goodbye to the nasty viruses and such that wrecked your computer. Check the manual and/or manufacter website for details.
