I'm slightly cheesed off that the eternal classic 'Jamie And The Magic Torch' only made it to 87, and yet bloody South Park was number three. Where's the justice?

Yeah, saw that show when it was on before. These things are always so predictable. They did another one, "Top 100 comedies" and the Simpsons came top of that too. Someone should point out that Simpsons was funny until about 1999 and since then has been COMPLETE CRAP. Why do people still watch it? Has nobody noticed that it used to be hilarious and now it's just... /soulless/?
Think it's a shame more of those 80s classics weren't represented. I mean, I thought everyone's favourite cartoon was "The Mysterious Cities of Gold" - it certainly was when I was a kid. Either that, Willy Fogg or Dog Tanian. Don't think any of those made it in there though, which is just criminal. But then, I didn't vote.
T & J kicks *** though - no denying that.
What? I can't even say the word ***? What about ****? Can I say "T & J kicks ****?"
Apparently not. Thanks Yahoo - keeping the kiddies safe there, that's good.
Ar$e.

I am rather fed up with seeing The Simpsons come top of all these charts - it even came top of a 100 favourite Children's Programmes show and I don't consider it a pure children's show, there are way more classics. It is good, but not that good. I hope Dangermouse was in there, but didn't watch it all. I was personally glad to see that Spongebob Squarepants came quite high, it is an absolute Nickelodeon classic!!! Soooo sweet.

To me alot of it didn't make sense, there was a mixture of feature animated films eg: Beauty and the Beast, and public information films eg:"charlie says".which really shouldn't of been counted in the first place.
I remember not so long ago channel 4 did the top 100 children's t.v shows and the Simpson's got the number one spot, which makes the mind wonder who does these surveys as the Simpson's is really aimed at the Adult audience.
also in the list it mentions pepe le pew, road runner and sylvester and tweetie, and looney tunes....but aren't the four charactors mentiond looney tunes anyway?.....so I really this survey should be voild and done again.

I didnt see it however Simpsons will always pull that number 1 spot, it is an absolute classic and it will never be any different!!
At the end of the day, the reason that these results are as they are is that the younger generation will be the majority of people who vote for these things and so most of them arent aware of that many cartoons as they are not on tv any more...

I don't think The Simpsons is as good as everyone makes out, I like it but I'd like to see something different at the top. I agree with the Family Guy rathing but laughed when they said it was a surprise high entry!!

Yes it wasnt right, the simpsons are ok but classics like Thundercats, Battle of the Planets , dungeons and dragons should have come a lot higher than they did.

I'd like to know where they get the results from, I don't ever recall seeing any poll or questionnaire for any of those top 100 shows.
There's good, and there's popular, definitely not always the same thing.
