I know the saying goes what goes in sober comes out drunk but are men really telling the truth when they text you when they are drunk telling you they really like you.

He certainly has an angle for you. So he is trying to get into the sack when he is drunk as he has no guts when sober. So be careful and if you like the prick then go on join him on the date and let him hit the home run

You can't believe a thing a drunk says.. you should know that . everything looks good when you are drunk.. but try waking up next to it in the morning. you will see how bad booze makes your decisions the wrong one.. When he says he is mad about you.. he is wanting sex and nothing else is crossing his mind but that one thing.. try catching him sober once if you can and see what he says then..
You don't want to be involved with someone that is a drunk anyway.. they have a tendency for violence. and getting picked up for dui's I know i have had three of them and there isn't one that i would ever go with again. married a couple of them that is how stupid i was.
take care and get away from him now.. there are plenty of nice guys out there that will treat you good and want you for more than just sex..

Alcohol reduces one's inhibitions. He will say and do things that he might not normally say or do when under the influence. This does not mean that he is speaking the truth when drunk; it just means he is less inhibited.

I wouldn't put much on what a drunk person says. Ask him about it when he is sober and see what he says. He might recant.

Good luck!

being a bloke "yes" but seriously at that moment in time that it is said defiantly yes because it is not scripted and what people call beer goggles is partly true. When drunk a man is prone to concentrate on one thing at a time you were that thing at that time, when sober they try to think of all the consequences all the stick from mates and eventually either the side that doesn't care what his mates think and what is good for him wins or the side that wants to remain free and single prevails which they do regret later in life when u meet some else and they make the right decision, i cant be more honest

I'd say he just wanted a shag. You could confront him about it though, when he's sober, ask him if he means what he said in the text, and see if he remembers, ask him to check back, and if he's really embarrassed, have a good laugh. People do silly things when they're drunk, like allow themselves to be controlled by their sexual urges. If he really likes you, he'll like you when he's sober as well.

Could be he wasn't brave enough to ask you out when he was sober, Perhaps he was so drunk he doesn't remember sending the text. If you fancy him ask him out if hes interested he'll say yes , if not it will be a no either way you will have your answer.

No because drunks and people on drugs dont know what reality is all about. They lie, cheat and don't care two tosses for anything and anyone.

If he says those things when he is intoxicated, try getting him to be honest when he's sober.

The bottle is talking, not the guy. A better question is: Why is he drinking so much? You might want to steer clear of him....and find someone who doesn't need to get drunk to tell you that he's mad about you.

Not always - it might be true if you know him well and he is normally a little shy or reserved but if you haven't slept with him and he is normally quite outgoing and confident, be cautious as it might be a plan to get you into the sack.

Discuss it with him when he is sober
