Don't pay for a CV, create your own. There are plenty of websites with guides as to how to write a CV.
Alternatively contact you local Careers Centre, they will be able to help with writing a cv and have guides and hints on how to write a covering letter to accompany your CV.

No it's not worth it... do it yourself. Ask other people to see their Cvs and take the best lay outs and ideas.
