I am still a little child. OK I am now 13 and I've started reading books by big authors like Agatha Christie, Arthur Conan Doyle, Sidney Sheldon, Jeffrey Archer, Dan Brown, Mario Puzo etc. But some of my favourite all-time children's classics are Tom Sawyer, Treasure Island, Alice in Wonderland, Oliver Wood and lots more.

I read the heck out of the Trixie Belden series. Kinda of like Nancy Drew, but not. :) Those were prob my fav books. I think there were 30-some books in the series. I read them all.
I liked the Little House books too by Laura Ingles Wilder.
And ANY Judy Blume book was GREAT! There was one, I can't remember the name, where a little girl made friends with the outcast boy of the class and he didn't want her to tell anyone because he was afraid they'd be mean to her too. They use to meet at an old abandoned house and talk about life. It was a great story.

My favorite book as a child was "The Lorax" by Dr. Seuss. As for my kids, I read them "Where the Wild Things Are" and "Goodnight Moon" but I read to them constantly all kinds of books and I have always loved reading.
