What I found in the US that a basetball gym is approx 7,752 and I figured that you would want lockers and bleachers. I looked at some of the construction costs and it looks like between 2,300,000 and 3,000,000 for a general contractor to build

A lot on money. The building/ steel structure cost a fortune let alone a couple thousand for the backboard and rim. The wooden floor will also add up quick.

Doing it from "scratch" - and doing it CORRECTLY and logically - it is going to cost around $4,500,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.
