I found out the hard way that buying a used cellular phone is like buying a used car. Your buying someone else's problems in most cases. I can only recommend that you find a dealer who carries refurbished phones, which is a used phone that's been overhauled by the nextel. In some cases that will come with a warranty usually 30 days.

Look in your Yellow Pages and call pawn shops and ask if they have used cell phones in your area.The free advertiser papers that you can pick up at convenience stores usually has people selling them.Ebay also has them.Good luck.
