Aside from the usual criteria, the most critical thing you must consider is "FLEXIBILITY.

You will have lay-overs in different cities when a flight terminates. You will not be home every night. True even on International flights.

You will be on call nearly 24 hours in case a scheduled hostess doesn't show up for a flight.
