Death is the Ultimate Walk at the end of our Journey.

I think it's a great way to finish off a long & happy life! But then, I know that the best part starts after we leave here. I was afraid of death for years, & then I awoke to the realization that the worst that could happen was that I'd be wrong, & there would not be anything after we die. And if that's the worst that could happen, that'd be okay, because I wouldn't know about, right? And if I'm right, then this life doesn't compare to the joy awaiting me when I return to my Lord! So, if you're a gambler, it seems to me that the smart money is with the House! I also think about all those poor souls who are too 'intelligent' to believe in 'religious nonsense'. I guess they're too smart to gamble, huh.

I'm with Sharon. When my body dies, my soul/spirit will continue to live. I will go to either heaven or hell depending on my decisions in this lifetime on earth. I can be a good person, go to church, tell the truth, give money to the poor and still go to hell because my eternal destination is not decided by the fact that I think I am a good person. My eternal destination is decided by whether or not I accept the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus and commit my life to Him.

So what do I think of death? I don't look forward to the process of dying - I can't imagine anyone does, but I am not afraid of death because I know that it leads to a far better place.
