started in 1485 Henry VII was the first Tudor king Henry VIII 1509-1547 was probably the most famous Tudor.Field of the Cloth of Gold 1520. 1533 divorced 1st wife Catherine of Aragon.1535 Henry was made supreme head of Church of England. 1536 the lesser monasteries were dissolved leading to all monasteries and convents being dissolved and the money going to the crown. Henry was succeeded by his young son Edward VI, but because of his age didn't get the throne until1549.he ruled until1553 when he was succeeded by his sister Mary I she had Lady Jane Grey beheaded (the nine day queen). Mary tried to restore Catholicism back to England.In1558 Elizabeth 1st became queen 1587 execution of Mary Queen of Scots.1588 the Spanish armada.1603 the completed conquest of Ireland.
