may be because of the settings of that particular computer,,
u can change those settings in any computer,,,

more over,, depends on the hardware too..

but about the speed of the songs,,, its again the same answer,, u can change the speed of the song,,,

Because some computers have really crappy "onboard sound".

You can solve the problem by having a "soundcard" installed in the computer rather than using the "onboard sound". SoundBlaster, M-Audio and MIDI-Man are good soundcard makers.

Sometimes the clock frequency of motherboard reproduced sound is dodgy..

Almost all real soundcards will all play sounds at a steady rate.
