I am almost finished my Professional Postgraduate Diploma with CIM, but I want to get into work experience ASAP. I already have my BA(Hons) in International Business Management.
Most places want work experience but no one wants to give it. Does anyone know of any good employment agents that I can go to? I am fed up with Reed and those other highstreet places that promise my don't really deliever unless u want to give them half your salary.

I would use your ability gained through university to think of a way to get work. You will never be a manager if you don't.

Don't just sit there get up and go!!!!!

Write your resume to reflect what you did during your schooling that is directly related to what you'll be doing at work...that helped me get a foot in the door... you'll need to be prepared to start at the bottom or in the middle and be prepared to work for idiots... however, give it six months, then start looking else where... otherwise volunteer time is a great resume builder. But do sit back on your laurels and think you deserve the BEST job because of your education, it just doesn't work like that, plus a lot of people are jealous and intimidated by it... so be prepared, however once you get a foot in the door it's easy to begin maneuvering around, once you prove your worth and work ethic!

Apply to many jobs of interest, accept whatever salary they offer. Get experience for 6 months or 1 year. Now your are experienced and you can try in another company for better salary.

Stop being so stuck up and take an entry level job for awhile. I know your type if you can't start at the top because of your useless degrees you don't want to work at all.

Tell your potential employer that you have chosen his company as the place that you can get the best experience. Everybody loves a compliment. It worked for me. GOOD LUCK

Listen email me and tell me where you live, because I know most 'local' agencies in most areas...or you can do a yell search.

Good luck

the only way to get it is to get a job that will train you for it, which is hard to do. that's why it's good to do an internship thing while going to school.
