Americans don't understand their own denial

I expect the hysterical cries of "The Muslims are coming! The Muslims are coming!" Have you learned nothing about the world? Can you not see the obvious manipulations of the U.S.-U.K. intelligence community in these bogus "terror alerts"?

Gee, whadda ya know, it's time for a midterm election and George Bush has a 30% approval rating --- and here come the Muslim hordes because they "hate our freedoms"!

Grow up. The American government spends over $500 billion a year on defense, over $60 billion a year on intelligence. That's more than the rest of the world combined. That sound you hear is not a billion Muslims strapping bombs to their chests. That sound you hear is the American military-intelligence complex prodding the stupid citizens who pay for it. They've got plans for martial law in America, and you people are prattling on about Islamofascism.

The first 9/11 was an inside job. The next one -- probably in the next two months, just in time for the elections -- will also be made in America. Open your eyes and see the real enemy.

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace in a continual state of alarm (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing them with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."

--H. L. Mencken

Nobody can piece it together for you Aurred because you don't want it pieced together. You have absolutely no desire to know or understand the truth.

And as for piecing it together FOR you... I have no desire.

I did notice though that you didn't mention Spain, Great Britain or Israel.

Because those countries are not truly free. They are closer to socialism. And besides, it was really about money. Bin Laden wanted to destroy the worlds market. It wasn't in Canada or France. Everyone that wants to do business comes to the good old USA. We are the power to be reckoned with. And he can get a lot of support from the world because when you're number one, everyone else wants to have what you have. It's called jealousy. France supplies Arab nations and he wouldn't do that. That would just make him enemies in his own nation. Also what is there to attack in Canada? I'm not being rude I'm just saying there isn't any world trade centers there, or Switzerland or Greece or anywhere. The next biggest would be Japan. Yes Japan is on their list but they want to get rid of the USA first, then it will be any other nation that has any freedom what so ever.

Because, silly, those other countries aren't Beacons of Freedom and Democracy and All Good Stuff like the good-old U.S.-of-A.

I'm afraid you overestimate many people in the US. I'm sorry to say I know more than one person who (1) was surprised Europe had electricity, (2) thinks all other countries are run by tyrants, and (3) view anyone (and I mean anyone) without a midwestern US accent as a suspected communist. This doesn't include all US citizens, of course, but propaganda doesn't work as well on people who know things like, oh, that Paris is a city, not a country, so they tend to aim for the fish at the bottom of the political barrel. Besides, what better way to get people to back you than to make them all into martyrs for The Cause? Oh, and don't forget the American penchant for adventures and cowboy movies; I'm sure that's factoring into this whole fiasco somehow.

Canada has too many trees; desert dwellers love trees. :P That plus Canada let's em in eh?
Switzerland? Hmm they make great chocolate-
via Lindt. Are you crazy? Taking away chocolate? :D How would they get camels to listen to em?

France-supposedly France has what, ten % of it's population is Muslim. That plus cute hairy women every Muslim extremist wants! But don't worry, the CIA is on the case in France...whoops, a renegage CIA operative team just blew up...wtf? "Hide the metal pieces..."

Ah I see, the word freedom...yes now I understand what you mean. The Neocons want to ship corporate "Democracy" overseas. That includes changing cultures of other nations.

The Neocons are aggressively moved by blind greed (Rome just collected $ & let you do your thing.) Bring in the giant corporations so everyone can have a Walmarts & latte. There, that's "freedom." Freedom to have your job outsourced, have Family lawyers divide up your family...heck even be globalized.

Lots of jobs money in "freedom" & in being globalized the corporate way. Heck we can blow up a lot of countried & then hire Haliburtons to fix em up. Corporate Freedom coming to a nation near you soon.

So, maybe these extremist Muslims, who btw drink very strong cafe (and we all know how caffeine makes us jittery) are opposed to Corporate greed & globalization. "Come on now Muhammed, here's a computer chip for you."

There now, it's not so bad...pretty soon all of us
will be chipped, scanned & scammed. Sad & tragic...our Marines are fighting while our rights are being stolen away ala Big Brother/Sister.
