Divorces do take longer than they used to apparently to try and cut the amount of divorces down but 2 years does seem like a long time. If there are children involved then it takes even longer. If I was your boyfriend I would get in touch with my solicitor and find out what is going on.
You also need to ask him if he has had his decree nisi yet as there are two stages to a divorce. You first get a decree nisi which gives the details of the divorce and lasts for 6 weeks which is classed as the backing out period.
After the 6 weeks he will get his decree absolute which makes the divorce final.
I think you need to be quizing your boyfriend and getting him to make some phonecalls.

if you live in the uk you can get a quickie divorce if both partners agree in as little as 16 -18 weeks even if kids and property are involved it wouldn't take 2 years
for it to take this long 1 of them is dis-agreeing ,refusing to sign the papers and this automatically draws the proceedings out,
so it looks like you are being strung along (sorry)

Two years is a long time if both sides are agreeable. In the UK technically it can be done in as little as four months, although realistically it's more like six months. I am not sure about elsehwere in the world though.

it sounds like your being strung along. tell hime he has a month to have it finalised or for you to see the soliciters information.
if he really wanted to divorce it would be finished by now

Sounds like someone isn't doing their job. tell him to contact his solicitor and get it moving.

If the solicitor is jut making excuses threaten them with the law society. It usually does the trick.

Are their children involved?

That extends divorce time.

Have the lawyers been well paid?

if the woman knows that he is with you and want to be with you , then its possible she is refusing to cooperate. you have to decide if its worth waiting it out to see what happens, and im sure the guy is gonna understand if you cant wait longer.
