I mean from the time of the cauboys to today in which we have a police and we lvie lifes free of having to keep a gun there. Can this evolution of civilization follow when it comes to Countries as well?

There can be Peace in the world after the intimidating huge stockpiles of Nuclear weapons in the hands of the few powerful countries are de-commissioned and conventional forces are also reduced to the level needed for tackling emergencies.
Peace is an outgrowth of the self confidence of Nations. If you are emotionally insecure you tend to terrorise others to get attention or whatever it is that you lost

Probably not, as long as someone disagrees with someone else, and nobody can reach a compromise, it usually ends up as a "My Army is better than your Army". A dead person cannot fight back or overule you.
As long as someone thinks this way, there needs to be a counter-measure (opposing army) in place, otherwise this person will rule the world - which would be good if it were a real nice guy or girl, but warlords tend to be the opposite.

well until the anti social elements are behind bars...then only wil we have peace..we cant jus go on killing people on the basis of their religiion, caste, creed, colour or sex..no one has the right to harm others..there wil b peace the day we realize that we are humans and we stop behaving like animals.

Not while powerfull countries want to take the wealth from the weak, and not while religions fight because they believe their god is better than the others.

if no one is president and theres no such stupid thing as a government and everyone just lead their own lives and guns,tanks and weapons were never invented,i don't see why we can't live in peace

never. as long as life exists, fear of death exists.and where is fear, peace is not possible(worldly). certainly an individual can be at peace.
