Is George Michael doing it on purpose now?

It seems amazing that he's been found, yet again, slumped in his car. Exactly the same as before. Is he doing it for attention?

Good question. I think it could be a cry for help, done through a medium with which he is familiar, ie exploitation of his fame. As one of the earlier answers said, he is clearly not a happy man.

Its worthwhile considering the people like George Michael and Pete Docherty (even though he's on much harder stuff) These high-profile celebrity drug users contrast with people who take drugs all the time, never get busted, never make a scene, etc etc. The music world is FULL of people who do stuff all the time and have relatively little hassle with the police. I think it can be compared with the difference between functioning alcoholics, who hold down a job and family life, and the non-functioning alcoholics, who let their lives fall apart. Drugs is the same really - some people do them and keep themselves together, other people do them and fall apart. Its just that with people like George Michael, that falling apart is always going to be more visible than for some purely anonymous user that the papers have never heard of.

Poor bloke. You wish someone would sort him out really.

I think he has a lot of issues and needs to be a bit more concerned about his own welfare. I feel sorry for his partner too. I think George must suffer from depression. He must be in a bad way to keep allowing himself to be found in that state publicly. I think he needs some help :o(

I just think he's lost the plot and is very unhappy. Goes to prove that money doesn't bring you happiness, doesn't it. Ok you can buy lovely things and have a good life without having to worry about a mortgage etc etc but you lose your privacy, you lose friends. Who wants these false "hanger on" friends. It's nice knowing you can walk out of your front door without being pestered by photographers/fans.

Yes he is because his career has gone down the drain and he craves attention!!!!! He has nothing to show for his life apart from a legacy and respect which is slowely going down the drain along with his remaining brain cells.

Probably, he seems to have a problem though and should hotfoot it into the Priory asap. It's a shame, he's a talented guy, but he has too many hang ups!

I have no doubt that George did it to capture attention. I think that George is a very sad and lonely man who is unfulfilled. I also feel that he has the need for someone to care for and love him for always.

I think that he should give up show business altogether and go and do something worthwhile with his life. He may just find peace, fulfilment and contentment in his lonely world.

I still think he is grieving for his mum,its no excuse,this is the second time he has fallen asleep at the lights,i thought he got a chauffer now.

It is a bit ridiculous. Even if he is f*cked up on drink and drugs he should still be able to function. I am quite f*cked up and I manage not to get caught slumped in my car and I make it to work everyday with no problems.

He should just get a grip and look at what the rest of us have to put up with in life.

George Michael is a very confused mixed up person and has been for years. If he is doing it for attention then someone should listen and give him the help he needs before he kills himself or someone else.
