Mark C - actually my question is based on the fact that I think he's a talentless has-been. Since he puts himself in the public eye I (as a member of the public) feel I have an absolute right to comment on him.

I agree with you. I used to like him and found him really funny, but after that terrible incident in his swimming pool (for which a satisfactory explanation has never been given) I really can't bear seeing him on television.

Why can't people leave the man alone? I am not a Barrymore fan, but some people do like him, no matter how deluded they are. Whatever he has done (if he did anything), everyone makes mistakes and deserves a second chance. Get off his back, and he will slide into oblivion because all the time you are posting questions like this he will not go away! Awight!?

he's not in the limelight any more, has lost everything but desperately wants to be 'loved' so will try to make comeback after comeback after comeback = more than Sinatra. Yaaaawwwwwwnnnnn.
Why do we pander to him? He's on This Morning now. Eeeeeek. Wish he'd go away. He destroys all around him. I muted the sound as he has annoying lift at end of sentences like a phoney American. He makes me sick.

I totally agree - his 'humour' often just centred around embarrassing people in the audience - this was shown again in his vile bullying behaviour in 'Celebrity' big brother...(& no I'm not a fan of Jodi Marsh!).
Basically I think he is talent less, has a nasty character ..& oh yes... what about the suspicious death in the pool…he has never explained what happened.

I agree with you i wish he would go back to whatever rock he was hidding under and never darken our tvs again!(the mans deluded thinks we want to see him) Never liked him that much before and NO time for him at all now.
