There's lot of information availible, all you have to do is ask.
BMW's are not uneconomical compared to cars of a simlar size and engine capacity. I owned a BMW 328 which was as good on Petrol as a 2.0 Sierra I owned before it and my 530 gets around 35mph on the motorway and about 26mpg around town. So not too bad really. A 7 series will be a lot cheaper to own and run than a similar age Jaguar and will let you down a lot less.
As for what to look for, make sure everything works. Problems with the aircon and other electrical gadgets can be pricey to fix. Check the service history is full and all BMW. Ideally having the service invoices to back it up is better since a history can be faked. As long as the car has been cared for and hasn't been in a crash you should be fine.

the first idea that got here to my options upon examining this submit develop into a million. WHY is college practise value is u.s. ridiculously intense priced? WHY do faculties favor a lot funds? a college isn't a organisation like Apple or Microsoft. My sister will graduate from her 4 years of school quickly and the full coast of teaching pee paid throughout those 4 years....is OMG too a lot. the quantity is almost as a lot because the U.S. nationwide debt. 2. do faculties truly favor fairly some funds? 3. u.s. is at the moment dealing with an economic disaster; that's envisioned to be between the worst ever in U.S. historic previous. So unemployment is a increasing challenge, the monetary equipment is getting spoiled and there are extra harmless electorate suffering below the poverty line. and that i'm no longer antagonistic to the authorities even with the indisputable fact that the federal authorities would not seem sorting it out properly. i don't understand that a lot about the ecnonomy, so I discovered from my sister (she's a organisation / economics major) and that i visit inform that the country, the monetary equipment etc are all dealing with a disaster. Soo....i don't understand yet till the authorities grants to love help the undesirable pay for faculty or some thing I strongly recommend that faculties do no longer boost practise expenses. in the different case...u.s. will face an excellent worse academic disaster. Does the stuff I typed make sense? wish it does. And......the best information is that the intense priced practise value paid to an exceedingly good college develop into truly worth it because my sister were given an exceedingly good job 2 weeks earlier commencement.

Have your potential purchase professionally checked (if in UK, AA offer good independent service), spending a little of your budget on getting it properly checked (and checked out for outstanding HP, stolen etc etc), will pay you back many times over.
Also, keep back at least 10% of your budget to fix and service whatever you buy, as ALL used cars need something (normally that is why they are being sold).
Good luck, acquaint yourself with a good BMW mechanic and you'll be fine.

for a car like the 728 get it checked by a BMW mechanic as if it goes wrong or has a problem you will be in for huge repair bills and will hate the vehicle. As for prices look in auto trader or exhcange and mart as they have a good amout to look at with diffent milages and options.

If you are thinking of buying a BMW, you should check the length of your old man. I went to buy a BMW once, but was told mine was too big. Only people with little ones can drive them.
Seriously, don't buy a BMW - if anything goes wrong with it, it will cost you a fortune to repair, never mind them being bad for fuel economy and the environment.
