honestly its probly the bearing in the steering shaft and not the wheel itself-this will seem like the wheel is loose-im not sure why you want to remove it but you have to take a bolt or 2 out of the back of the wheel this will let the air bag come off-then theres just a single nut in the middle of the wheel-then go to autozone and pay $15 for a steering wheel remover-after you use this you can take it back and get your $$ back-its there lil loan a tool program-rather handy whenyour only doin something once-this will pull it right off-you do need this because when you tighten the center nut on the wheel it presses the wheel on and youll never get it back off-but if its just loose just remove the airbag and tighten the center nut back down tight-but like i said usally the bearing in the steering coloum goes bad and youll have to get it fixed somewhere or replace the coloum itself which is easier than it looks really-but i hope i helped ya out

Tilt Column???

If that's loose, you have to partially dis-assemble the steering column to get to the bolts which hold the tilt knuckle in place. This is not a job for the amateur, take it to the shop!
