You are perfectly allowed to want what you want! There are a couple ways to improve chances. (95% chance of boy [or girl if that's what you want] -- sperm can be separated by fertility doctors into male & female.
You can also time intercourse for the exact time of ovulation -- go to: WIKIPEDIA or WebMD and other web sites for info. Also, check net as I cant remember but a pre-sex douche of either acid or alchalie (sP) will help insure one sex over the othe (baking soda or vinegar -- check net or ask doctor) Good Luck!

There is no reliable way to do this. You can try a google search for sex selection, but most of these are just old wives tales and will not guarantee anything. If you "need" to have a boy because you or your partner are carriers of a disease or genetic condition which would be passed to a girl, you should go see a doctor. They can do an in-vitro procedure where they separate x and y sperm, but even this has a slight margin of error.

There are so many myths and wives tales and home remedies from eating strawberries to certain sexual positions. It is still in a sense nature's gamble. The one thing I do see a lot of is that people that are trying to hard for one gets the other. Try tricking Murphy's law and wish for the opposite....But either way, as long as the child comes out healthy is what matters most! Good Luck. P/S just in case paint baby's room neutral. Unless you go to one of those fertility centers that can help out a bit with the sex of child (and that isn't always 100 percent but close), you get what you get :).

NEED a boy? How repulsive.
Boy or girl, that's 100% on the sperm of the man. There is nothing you can do to control if the X or the Y chromosome is the one that gets tot he egg. What you're suggesting is selective abortion of an "imperfect" product.
You may get a lot of responses here like "eat only eggs for a month" or "have sex only in the missionary position", and some web sites even sell kits to supposively cause one sex or the other, but I absolutely promise you, there is Nothing you can do to affect the outcome of intercourse.
How sad that you only want a baby if it is a boy. I thought society was beyond that now. I pity you for your closemindedness.
If you're that bad off for a male, ADOPT.

I'm afraid there is nothing you can do - there will always be a more or less even chance that you will have a girl or a boy.
If you and your partner are not absolutely sure that you can accept, love and care for a daughter in exactly the same way as you would for a son, without ever making her feel that she is 'second best', then you should not have a child.
What about adoption? You get to view before you take them home!

Make sure the father only has male dominate chromozomes. since it is the father's DNA that determines the sex of a child. There is NO surgery, NOTHING you can do to be even 50% sure of giving birth to a male child. It's a crap shoot, you get what you get.

There is no possible way of predicting these things. The chance of having a boy is 50:50 and there is no way to alter this.

you can't guarantee the sex of your child no matter what you do. they only type of guy i'm aware of that doesn't usually produce boys is diabetic. if your man is diabetic chances are you'll have a girl, it's something about the sugars and such. be happy for whatever blessing of a child you get.
