I am not sure if this is the song you refer to, but in the amazingly outstanding, but little-seen movie "Orphans" a terribly drunken Albert Finney sings; "If I had the wings of an angel, o'er these prison walls I would fly, straight to the arms of me mudder, and then I'd be willing to die..."
