Karen Millen do gorgeous evening wear which could be what you are looking for. I have bought a black satin pencil skirt from there which fits me perfectly. You should find a store near where you live. If not then debenhams/Fenwick/Browns department stores

You're best bet is COAST, I don't know if you can shop online with them but they definately have a cream satin pencil skirt in at the moment.
Check their website for your nearest store, House of Fraser have a concession of theirs if you live near a HoF. x
