That was hilarious. I read your question wrong and thought it said how do you bring a vigin on a plane! Virgin are the same as all the others. I believe you can now take rucksacks and liquids but no sharp objects, lighters, combustibles or anything that might be construed as dangerous. Go on their website.

It may be useful if you said where you are flying from and where to.
Virgin Atlantic have no say in what is allowed in to a particular country, but they do have a say in what is carried onto their aircraft in the hand baggage of a passenger. As a general rule the airport has the say in what will be allowed through the security check as items of hand luggage.
As a general guidance the following items are not allowed in hand luggage or elsewhere:
compressed gases (flamable, non-flammable and poisonous)
corrosives (such as acids, wet batteries)
explosives
munitions
fireworks and articles that can easily be ignited
flammable liquids and solids (such as flammable aerosols lighter or heating fuels matches)
oxidising materials
poisons
radioactive materials
other restricted items (such as mercury, magnetic material, offensive or irritating materials)
Certain things in that list can be carried with the consent of a prior arrangement with the carrier.
In addition to this the following items will not be allowed in your hand luggage through most BAA airports in the UK)
No liquids (including water bought outside the secure zone) pastes (including toothpaste)
lighters
matches
sharp metal objects
scissors
nail clippers
nail files etc
no glass bottles etc
I have just passed through this security on 24 Sept, 2006 and there are still a lot of restrictions in place on what can or cannot be taken on board in the hand luggage.
For current up-to-date information about what items are not permitted through call the airport that you intend to travel from and the airline you are travelling with. In your case this would be Virgin.

The things you'll usually handle a summer holiday. if you're no longer checking a bag, then you fairly'll could wait and purchase sunscreen once you get there, as you could only convey issues that adjust to the three-a million-a million rule on your carry-on. The TSA internet website has information.

You are allowed one carry on bag of up to 5Kg, not including your handbag. No bombs, aerosols or other explosive or dangerous devices. One bag packed by you not weighing over aprox 20Kg can be checked in at the counter too.
For more details, read your ticket, eTicket, or go to their website!
